This is some of my current work.
Welcome to my website.
I am a collage/fiber artist living and working in the town of Hudson, Quebec, Canada. My interests lie in the construction of layered surfaces using textured fibrous materials of all kinds and the use of photographic images to interweave stories of our time and place.
Inspiration comes from observations in the natural world, but also from the ebb and flow of our daily lives, striving to maintain our most vital interconnections and our sense of belonging.
Whether using a reduced palette to explore form in shadow and light, or employing the dramatic use of colour for expression, our visual perceptions can be shared and explored, with often very simple themes and tools.
The power of art to express both the seen and unseen world bring with it limitless opportunity to look a little closer , to offer an altered perspective, perhaps peaking a curiosity in the world around us, and in the people we share it with.
